Since 1936 Old Master paintings have been the core activity of Georges Segal fine Arts. This department offers works of the 15th through the 18th century with an emphasis on French, Italian and Dutch schools.

The 19th century was characterized by the largest number of pictorial movements throughout the art history. Georges Segal fine Arts' paintings cover this wide variety of styles from the Neoclassicism to the early Impressionism.

This brand new department offers paintings, drawings and sculptures from the late 19th century to the 30's including movements such as Impressionism, Symbolism, Abstract Art, Cubism, School of Paris and Expressionism.

Old Master drawings refer to works executed from the Renaissance to the early 19th century most often in chalk, pen and ink or brush and wash. We have offered works by Boucher, Chardin, Degas, Géricault, Robert among many others.

	Georges Segal fine Arts has been active in the art market since 1936. Originally, our gallery specialised in appraising, buying and selling Old Master paintings and drawings from the 17th and 18th centuries, focusing on French, Italian and Dutch schools. In 1999, a new office headed by Benjamin Charron was opened in Paris to strengthen the 'savoir-faire' of Georges Segal fine Arts and diversify its activities to include Impressionist paintings and Modern Art. The Gallery's paintings cover a wide range of subjects with an emphasis on religious scenes, portraits and landscapes. Each painting offered by Georges Segal fine Arts is meticulously researched to ensure the highest standards for collectors and institutions. We have therefore helped numerous private clients enrich or build their collection. Some of our paintings have found homes in European and American museums or are often requested for loans to exhibitions. Our team would be delighted to welcome you to our main office in the heart of Marylebone, in London.
